Highlights – Joint Hearing on “Carbon Farming: Practical applications in use in the EU” – Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety

The ENVI and AGRI committees are jointly organising on 22 March a public hearing on carbon farming and its practical applications in the EU.Representatives from academia, a network of environmental citizens’ organisations, a research institute a practitioner, as well as from the Commission, CoR and EESC will present and discuss with EP Members on the conditions of existing European certification systems for carbon capture and the actual implementation of certification and carbon capture systems
