NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Clear Sky Advisers, LLC (“Clear Sky”), an investment manager dedicated to investing and acting sustainably, today announced that it has hired John Holl as President of North American Carbon and President of Environmental Trading.
Mr. Holl joins Clear Sky from ACT Commodities, where he served as Head of Business Development. In that role, he managed relationships between the environmental commodity sector and the financial services sector to further expand their access to sustainability solutions. Prior to ACT, Mr. Holl served as Head of Non-Dollar Execution Globally at Cowen, Inc. (NASDAQ: COWN), where he led the expansion of European-based sales and trading initiatives and oversaw financial and operational risk across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Mr. Holl previously started and led Knight Capital Group’s London office and also held senior trading roles at Citigroup Global Markets and Credit Suisse First Boston.
